Proper Motion was the band I was involved in from 1997-1998. The band's original name was Mad Cow Disease, which eventually changed to Evening Of Strange. After I joined, the name changed to "Proper Motion" when we were making fun of the drummer, talking about him sitting in the corner trying to get the "proper motion".

The bass player, Mark, was involved with another band named Frenzee. He eventually dropped Proper Motion altogether to pursue his other band. Graham moved to bass and I started playing rhythm guitar for the band.

Problems arouse after a year of writing and playing. Brad and Graham kicked Matt out, and we were stuck without a drummer. Cory Thomas (who was also in Factor) filled in for a couple of shows until the band fell apart altogether.

Mark Gomulinski was in Proper Motion for a very short amount of time.
